On the morning of November 12, local bankers and entrepreneurs sit together to exchange opinions on the current economic situation. Mr. Hua Wei presented the meeting and encouraged more cooperation between banks and enterprises.

15 local enterprises communicated with the bankers about the problems they have met, and they also expressed their wishes to the banks. The representatives from the banks answered the questions raised by the enterprises and they promised they would do more to help the enterprises.

Mr. Hua Wei said that the local enterprises should be more confident to see that the government and the banks were with them when the winter was coming. By sticking to each other to spend the cold winter, he meant that all the party involved should help each other. The government should improve its service to the enterprises and the banks should enhance their social responsibilities to do more things to help the enterprises and the enterprises should create and maintain a good social image and enhance their own sense of social responsibilities.

Mr. Hua Wei pointed out that the international financial crisis now was both a challenge and an opportunity. The crisis would certainly help re-shuffle the whole industry. The local enterprises should try to grasp this opportunity and the uplift themselves so as to survive the crisis and to better develop themselves after the crisis.
