The launch ceremony of Ningbo Week in Singapore cum signing ceremony of trade cooperative projects was held November 11 at the Raffles Center of Singapore. Mayor Ningbo Mr. Mao Guanglie and Singaporean Finance Minister Chen Huihua, and Ambassador Zhang Xiaokang of China's Embassy attended the ceremony and delivered speeches. Concurrently, the signing ceremony of cooperative projects with Singapore and other Southeast Asian nations was held. A total of 15 contracts were signed, involving a total investment of 865 million US dollars, with the contractual amount reaching 442 million dollars.

This is the first promotional initiative that Ningbo has ever initiated abroad. The programs of the Ningbo Week included an introductory meeting, a news release, promotion of four modern service zones, and four theme activities of port logistics, finance, industrial design, and tourism.
