This year marks the 10th anniversary of the sisterhood relationship between Ningbo and Xi'an. On Nov 8, a governmental delegation headed by Party Secretary Bayin Chaolu headed for Xi'an for a visit. The two sides signed a Framework Agreement on furthering the cooperation, and agreed to strengthen collaboration among colleges, universities and institutes and promote the development of independent innovation system. 

After wrapping up the goodwill visit in Xi'an, the Ningbo delegation went to Qingchuan County of Sichuan to learn about the relief work for the quake-hit zones. The officials expressed that they would render more efforts to help the Qingchuan County.
