A delegation headed by Zheng Jiemin, Party secretary of the Ningbo People's Congress visited Beilun on the morning of Nov.14.

They first heard the work reports of the People's congresses of Yuyao, Cixi, Zhenhai and Beilun. Zheng highly credited the work they have done, saying that they have played an important role in carrying out the scientific development view and in providing guidance on innovation, which has well facilitated the economic development of the respective areas.

With regard to the work for the coming year, Zheng Jieming put forward some requirements and expectations for the subordinate congresses to follow. He stressed that related departments need to unify the thinking and improve the work efficiency, trying to innovate on the transparency of the work and that they need to reinforce communication and improve the linkage mechanism.
