On the afternoon of November 17, a delegation from the city's Urban Planning Bureau headed by the chief director Zheng Shengxuan came to Beilun for an inspection of the planning work.

Lu Yingce, chief of the planning bureau of Beilun summarized the year's work from five aspects: Reinforcing planning work and focusing on planning of special towns and areas; reinforcing planning management and making clear the functions of various offices; reinforcing rectification on key projects and management of archives; reinforcing the leadership fostering; enhancing the news reporting work and the website development.

Zheng Shengxuan highly credited Beilun's work in urban planning and proposed some suggestions on the bettering of the future work.
