The first multi-functional dock of the Beilun Port was completed days ago.

The dock lies to the east of the Beilun Mount and the west of the Conch Cement. The whole preoject includes a 50,000 tonnage dock (capable of receiving 80,000-tonnage bulk vessel), two lead-in bridge approaches, a transformer station 2#. It is 433 meters long and 35 meters wide, with designed handling capacity of two million tons and 20,000 vehicles. It will be mainly for the operations of ocean liners, bulk cargo vessels and roll-on-roll-off ships.

This project is a key project of Ningbo, which was started in 2007. With the concerted efforts of all parties, the project has been completed 40 days ahead of schedule.
