To better carry out the plans for assisting the reconstruction in quake-hit areas and promote Beilun's reconstruction work in Qingchuan, a government delegation headed by Wang Yinze went to Qingchuan for an inspection during June 24 and 28.

The delegation first came to the Ningbo Help-Build Commanding Headquarters to attend a symposium. Zhou Guocheng, vice commander of the Headquarters reported the reconstruction work during the past 10 months, as well as difficulties and problems they face during the reconstruction work. The local officials warmly received the delegation and expressed their gratefulness. The inspectors highly commended their previous work and expressed the hope that they could go on working hard and contributing to the reconstruction work of the local areas.

During the symposium a signing ceremony was held. The Ningbo Haihesen Foodstuffs Company and the Qingchuan Shanzhen Industiral Company signed a cooperative agreement; the Daqi Sub-district and Baifeng Sub-District signed agreements with the local townships. The industry and commerce federation agreed to donate meat rabbits to the Qiaozhuang Town of Qingchuan, as well as some feeding facilities, worth about 100,000 yuan. The Beilun government donated 150,000 yuan to the Qiaozhuang town.

The delegation also visited the Dongshan Residential Community Project and Qiaozhuang River Regulation Project, which were being built with the help of Beilun.
