To welcome the Spring Festival, volunteers in Qijiashan gathered together for a party. Some 1000 people, mostly volunteers, were present at the party. They put on their own programs one after another.
The programs were masterminded, directed and performed by volunteers themselves. A dance show Arabian Evening by youngsters unveiled the party. And then a comic dance play Four Little Swans by male dances made the audience explode with laughter. Magic shows were also put on, which held people's breath a lot. Segments of Yue Opera plays and Yong Opera plays were performed too, which attracted a lot of fans of opera.
The party was then concluded with the song Unforgettable Night sung by volunteers tighter. They had a wonderful night.
The 10 best volunteers of Qijiashan were commended at the party too. It's learned the party will be held once a year as there are about 1500 volunteers in the sub-district.
