An awarding conference for excellent TV programs of county-level TV stations across China was held in Qingdao a couple of days ago. Three programs sent by Beilun Radio Station won the awards. Two of them won the first prize and one the third prize.
Since this year, the Beilun Radio and TV Broadcasting Center reinforced the news reporting, aiming to nurture a sound climate for publicity. For example, in March this year, they sent reporters to Hunan to report on the labor cooperation between Beilun and the local government. In May, they visited Qingchuan of Sichuan and interviewed Beilun's reconstruction work in Qingchuan. On July 29, the program on the sealed-off of the Meishan Free Trade Zone made by Beilun TV Station and the Radio Station was broadcasted on CCTV and Zhejiang TV.
The Radio Station also focuses on issues related to people's livelihood. They often make follow-up programs for hot issues. Some programs have helped to solve the problems.
