Recently, Mrs. Jiang Suchun, person responsible for the United Front in Beilun has gone to Beijing to pay a visit to Mrs. Li Youlan, who is a descendant of Xiao’gang and the wife of the late minister of national defense, Mr. Zhang Aiping. Mrs. Jiang brought the warmest wished to the lady and some local gifts to her and her family.

Mrs. Li Youlan was born in Xiaogang in 1919 into a wealthy family and became a Party member in 1938. After liberation, she worked for the PLA until she got retired.

Mrs. Li is in her nineties, and she is very excited to see her folks from hometown. She invited the guests to sit and enjoyed the talks with the guests.

The guest introduced the great achievements made in the past years, which makes the lady very happy. Mrs. Li also wishes to come back to her hometown when time permits.
