On the evening of July 28, 2010, as an important part of the second Ningbo International Port Festival, 2010 Ningbo International Cuisine Festival unveiled itself at the Port Park in Beilun.

Local leaders Zhang Minghua, Qi Ming, Hua Wei, Xu Yafa, Hu Guoguang and others took part in the opening ceremony. Mr. Hua Wei, mayor of Beilun addressed the ceremony and the ceremony was chaired by Mr. Liu Wenke, vice mayor of the district.

Mr. Hua Wei pointed out that the cuisine festival was a great event for the people and friends of Beilun, and it certainly helped more and more people and friends know more about the city. He also pointed out that the delicious food provided by the Ningbo locals could certainly satisfy the friends from near and afar.

The International Cuisine Festival started on July 28, 2010 and will last to August 1. besides, a cultural performance will be added every night during the festival to serve the visitors.
