Our school enjoys great fame for culture building, beautiful campus, chess and calligraphy in the district and even the city. There are altogether 24 classes with 1,150 pupils. 69.4% of the 51 staff members graduated from colleges or universities.

These years, we have been endeavoring to raise funds for improving the teaching conditions: we have set up multimedia labs; every three teachers share one computer in the office and the students can have one each in the computer center with internet access; each language lab is equipped with a projector and two TVs; the common knowledge lab meets the highest provincial standard; the library has a collection of over 30,000 books; we have also built some special rooms for painting, calligraphy, music, physical exercise, reading, chess, Young Pioneers activities, working skills etc; the sports facilities include one badminton court, one standard basketball court, six pairs of basketball stands, two volleyball courts and some amusement facilities; the new dining hall and square will be built in the latter half of this year.
